The GK Rig is built around the legendary Gallien-Krueger amp, punchy mids, gritty drive, and that unmistakable clarity that cuts through any mix without sounding harsh. Whether you're playing with a pick, fingers, or a modern active 5-string, this preset sits in a mix the moment you load it.
Two tones, one footswitch:
The middle footswitch toggles instantly between two sounds:
Full GK-style amp and cab, gritty, warm, mid-present, and punchy. The tone that works for live sets, worship, rock, funk, and everything in between.
Clean DI - flip the amp off and get a super clean, lightly compressed signal. Perfect for active basses or when the engineer needs a pristine feed or you want to add you on-board bass preamp (if you’re running an active bass).
The FX Loop feature:
The GK Rig includes an FX loop block, which means you can run your external pedals through the preset and use the HX Stomp's built-in blend control to mix them in parallel. If you've got an overdrive pedal without a blend knob this gives you one. Keep your low end intact while adding as much or as little of your external effect as you want. It's the kind of thing that changes how you think about your whole pedalboard.
Works with passive basses, active basses, vintage instruments, and modern 5-strings. Flexible enough for any venue, any genre.
